DFW Airport Transfers: Dallas/Fort Worth International

Private car from DFW to anywhere in Dallas. Fixed price before you fly, flight tracking and meet & greet.

About Dallas/Fort Worth International

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) sits between its two namesake cities, so one airport serves Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving and the fast-growing northern suburbs. Its five terminals, A through E, are connected inside security by the Skylink train, and a new Terminal F is under construction.

Our private transfers come with a fixed USD fare shown before you book, covering tolls and the airport fee. Your driver watches the flight, times the pickup to the actual landing, and meets you at the terminal meeting point named in your confirmation.

Frequent trips from DFW go to downtown Dallas and Uptown, Las Colinas, downtown Fort Worth and the Stockyards, Arlington's stadium district, and Frisco, Plano and McKinney to the north.

Getting from DFW to Dallas

Three rail services reach the terminals: DART's Orange Line arrives at Terminal A from downtown Dallas and Irving, while the DART Silver Line and Trinity Metro's TEXRail stop at Terminal B, the latter from downtown Fort Worth. The TRE connects via CentrePort/DFW Airport Station and a shuttle. Uber and Lyft pick up at the upper-level curb. A private car avoids rail transfers with luggage and reaches suburbs the trains don't serve.

Arrival tips

  1. Your gate letter is your terminal at DFW, so gate D25 means Terminal D; use it to find the right arrivals area.
  2. Skylink links all five terminals inside security, so switching terminals for a connection does not mean screening again.
  3. App-based rides such as Uber and Lyft load at the upper-level curb of each terminal rather than the lower level.
  4. For a booked transfer, your confirmation gives the meeting point for your terminal, and driver details are shared before your wheels touch down.
  5. The DFW Airport app's interactive map shows curb pickup areas and walking directions to the DART and TEXRail stations.

DFW transfer questions

How long does it take to drive from DFW to downtown Dallas or Fort Worth?

DFW does not publish a standard drive time, and the trip varies with your terminal, the time of day and highway traffic, so we do not quote one. The airport is entered from State Highway 183 to the south or State Highway 114 and Interstate 635 to the north. Plan extra time for weekday rush hours and big events in Arlington.

Which DFW terminal does my airline use?

American Airlines operates from all five terminals, and most foreign airlines use Terminal D. Delta, United, Alaska, JetBlue, Frontier and Air Canada are listed at Terminal E. Because the gate letter equals the terminal, the gate on your boarding pass tells you exactly where you will land and where to meet your driver.

Can I take the train from DFW instead?

Yes. The DART Orange Line runs from Terminal A through Irving to downtown Dallas. The Silver Line leaves Terminal B for Coppell, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson and Plano, skipping downtown Dallas. TEXRail goes from Terminal B through Grapevine and North Richland Hills to downtown Fort Worth. A private car saves changing trains with bags.

Which vehicle should I book for a family or team?

Pick a Sedan for up to three passengers and three bags, a Minivan for six passengers and six bags, or a Sprinter Van for groups of up to 14. Child seats can be requested at booking. Every ride is run by a licensed, insured local car service, and you can cancel for free up to 24 hours before pickup, local time.
